Symbolic Analysis of Linear Circuits with Modern Active Elements

چکیده
The paper deals with the symbolic analysis of linear circuits with modern active elements using the SNAP program. The simulator can perform both classical and approximate analyses. All device models are stored in a text library, which can be easily extended. Device parameters can be defined as simple symbols or as formulae in the netlist. This allows the simulation of electronic circuits both with basic elements and with complex behavioral models. Key-Words: Symbolic Analysis, Symbolic Approximation, Linear Circuits, Active Elements

Sensitivity and Tolerance Analysis in Analog Circuits using Symbolic Methods
230 Abstract — The paper is focused on a new and practical approach to perform sensitivity and tolerance analysis of analog lumped circuits. Any linear circuit can contain passive elements, magnetically coupled inductors, excess elements, and any type of independent and controlled sources. Special strategies based on symbolic methods are used in order to reduce the computational effort and to m...
متن کاملSymbolic Nodal Analysis of Analog Circuits with Modern Multiport Functional Blocks
Abstract. This paper proposes admittance matrix models to approach the behavior of six modern multiport functional blocks called: differential difference amplifier, differential difference operational floating amplifier, differential difference operational mirror amplifier, differential difference current conveyor, current backward transconductance amplifier and current differencing transconduc...
متن کاملSymbolic State Equations for Analog Circuit with Excess Elements
A new method, using a normal tree (NT) and symbolic simulator Maple V, to systematically formulate symbolic state equations for linear timeinvariant analog circuits with excess elements is presented. Our objective is to develop an algorithm so that a computer program can be written to formulate the symbolic normal-form equations of a large class of analog circuits containing linear resistors, i...
متن کاملMixed Algebraic and Boolean Symbolic Analysis of Switched Linear Networks: Theory and Applications to Coupled Gate and Interconnect Delay Modeling
Abstraction of digital MOS circuits as switch-level networks has proven very useful for VLSI automation. Symbolic analysis of switch-level networks by representing the signal at the gate of a MOS transistor as a Boolean variable has been shown to be efficient for verification in terms of functionality and timing. For this work, in addition to expressing the signal at the gate of MOS transistors...
متن کاملRealization of Novel Cascadable Current-Mode All-pass Sections
This paper introduces four new resistorless circuits of first-order current-mode all-pass filter (CMAPF) based on dual-X current conveyor transconductance amplifier (DXCCTA). All the four circuits use a single DXCCTA and a capacitor for their realization. The main features of the proposed CMAPFs are: use of minimum active and passive components, resistorless realization, electronically adjustab...
